Transportation

Transportation in and around the Museum District is highly multimodal. It is celebrated as one of Richmond's most walkable and bicycle-friendly neighborhoods, featuring dedicated bike lanes on key corridors.

Public transit is provided by the Greater Richmond Transit Company (GRTC). The northern edge of the district is serviced by the GRTC Pulse, a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line running along Broad Street, offering efficient connections to downtown Richmond and the Willow Lawn area. For regional car travel, Interstate 195 forms the western boundary of the neighborhood, providing rapid connections to I-95 and I-64. Richmond International Airport (RIC) is located approximately 12 miles to the east.
