The topography of Edmond is characterized by gently rolling hills, interspersed with small valleys and plains. The elevation ranges from approximately 1,000 feet in the lower stream valleys to just over 1,200 feet on the higher ridges.
There are no prominent mountains or major canyons within the city limits. Instead, the landscape is shaped by the Deep Fork River basin and various smaller creeks, such as Spring Creek and Coffee Creek, which meander through the city. The eastern portion of the city is dominated by the Arcadia Lake reservoir and its surrounding natural floodplains, which create a slightly more rugged and wooded terrain compared to the flatter, highly developed western and central areas.
