Sister cities

As a sovereign city-state, Singapore does not typically participate in traditional municipal sister-city agreements. Instead, the government engages in high-level bilateral partnerships, joint economic zones (such as the SIJORI Growth Triangle with Malaysia and Indonesia), and major government-to-government projects (like the Suzhou Industrial Park and the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city in China).
