As a major satellite city, Mytishchi shares much of its infrastructure quality and integration with Moscow.
The city operates on a centralized district heating system, standard for Russian urban centers, which provides hot water and radiator heating to apartment blocks during the winter. Electricity and municipal water/sewer systems are fully modernized and highly reliable.
Telecommunications infrastructure is excellent. High-speed fiber-optic broadband is available in nearly all residential buildings, and 4G/LTE cellular coverage (provided by major Russian telecom operators like MTS, Megafon, Beeline, and Tele2) is ubiquitous across the city.
