The republic's infrastructure has seen significant modernization over the past two decades, largely funded by federal development programs. Electricity is supplied by the unified Russian power grid, supplemented by a few small-scale local hydroelectric projects on the mountain rivers.
Water and sanitation services are modern in Magas and parts of Nazran, though rural and mountainous areas frequently rely on local wells and localized waste systems. Cellular coverage from major Russian providers (MTS, Megafon, Beeline) is generally excellent in the plains and cities, though the signal can be intermittent in the deep gorges of the Dzheyrakhsky District. Broadband internet is readily available in urban centers.
