Located in the midlands of central Kerala, Ramapuram features a picturesque geography characterized by undulating hills, lush green valleys, and a network of small streams. The region serves as a transitional zone between the flat coastal plains to the west and the high-altitude Western Ghats to the east.
The area is highly fertile, heavily blanketed by laterite soil which is exceptionally well-suited for plantation crops. The village's natural resources are primarily agricultural, with thick greenery dominating the landscape. Small streams originate in the hilly pockets of the panchayat and eventually feed into the larger Meenachil River basin.
