Telecommunications is a major success story. Mobile phone penetration is exceptionally high, dominated by providers Nepal Telecom (NTC) and Ncell. 4G cellular service and mobile broadband are available even in surprisingly remote trekking regions, and fiber-optic internet is rapidly expanding across urban centers, deeply integrating Nepal's youth into the global digital economy.
