Victoria has a robust and highly consumed media landscape.

* **Newspapers:** The two primary daily newspapers are *The Age* (a daily compact published by Nine Entertainment) and the *Herald Sun* (a daily tabloid published by News Corp Australia). * **Television:** The state is served by the national public broadcasters (ABC and SBS) alongside major commercial networks (Seven, Nine, and Ten). * **Radio:** AM talkback radio is highly influential, led by 3AW and ABC Radio Melbourne. Sports radio is dominated by SEN. The state is also famous for its strong community radio sector, notably Triple R (3RRR) and PBS FM, which champion independent music and local culture.
