Kozhukatta is a popular South Indian dumpling made from rice flour, with a filling of grated coconut, jaggery, or chakkavaratti. Kozhukattai, although usually sweet, can sometimes be stuffed with a savory filling. Modak is a similar dish made in other parts of India.
